Sick-Day Citrus Smoothie
Ingredients:
- ½ cup - water
- ⅓ cup - sugar
- 2 cups - orange greek yogurt
- 1 ¼ cups - orange juice
- 2 - bananas, sliced
- 1 - tangerine, sectioned
- 2 tablespoons - orange zest
- 2 teaspoons - vanilla extract
- 1 cup - ice, crushed
- mint, for garnish
Directions:
- Make a simple syrup by bring sugar and water to a boil. Once all of the sugar has dissolved stir and remove from heat and cool.
- In a blender combine syrup, yogurt, orange juice, bananas, tangerine sections, orange zest, vanilla and ice. Blend until creamy and smooth.
- Serve and garnish with mint.
