The 2014 Oscars are the talk of the town! Our red carpet cookies have already won “Best Dessert”! The soft cookie with the oh-so delicious gooey center will be the perfect treat while watching the all the stars. We had so much fun making these sandwich cookies! Give them a try at your house on Oscar night!
Red Carpet Cookies

Directions:
1. Pre heat oven to 350°F 2.Combine all of the dry ingredients including the flour, coco powder, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Sift and set to the side. 3. Whip the butter and brown sugar with a hand blender until they are light and fluffy. 4. Add the remaining ingredients and whip until well incorporated. 5. Slowly add the flour until all the flour is incorporated but try not to over mix. 6. Line 2 cookie sheets with parchment paper. 7. Use an ice cream scooper to make 16 even circles onto the cookie sheets. Bake for 8-10 minutes and let cool. 8. Combine all of the ingredients for the filling and mix well. 9. Once the cookies have cooled spread the filling on 8 of the cookies and top with the reaming 8 to make small sandwiches. Enjoy.Equipment:

- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- ¼ teaspoon Salt

- 1 ½ cup Brown Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon White Vinegar
- 2 Eggs
- 2 tablespoons All Natural Red Food Die
- 1 cup Milk
Filling:
- 1 cup Whipped Cream Cheese
- 1 cup Marshmallow Topping
- 1 cup Confectioners Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
